On September 21, nearly 100 student societies of NanjingTech jointly held recruitment activities in Boya Hall and Yaji Student Activity Center.

The freshmen were impressed by the vivid performances, and the student societies recruitment itself was organized with the exceptional hospitality inherent to the student societies members. Student societies related to ideology and politics, academic and pre-professional shared their study experience with the freshmen; student societies focused on public welfare, and voluntary work drew boards and created videos to present the achievements of the second classroom practice; all the student societies about hobbies like dancing and singing presented energetic and passionate performances; and student societies appreciate traditional Chinese culture also offered wonderful performances, such as dancing in Chinese costumes and teaching paper-cutting.

Student societies can assist in teaching and educating students with various aims. Aims may involve practice and propagation of a certain professional hobby or to promote professional development or philanthropic causes. Therefore, student societies are an important platform for students to enrich their after-school life and navigate their campus life successfully with the friends they newly met. Nanjing Tech University will further support the development of student societies and ensure that all NanjingTech students can lead a happy, positive, and healthy life on campus.
