QIAO Xu is the President of Nanjing Tech University from June 2017. He was previously Vice-President from July 2007 to June 2017, Director of Office of Teaching Affairs from July 2005 to Aug 2007, Dean of Pujiang Institute from June 2003 to Dec 2005, Executive Deputy Dean of School of Chemical Engineering from May 2001 to May 2003.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Inorganic Chemical Engineering at Nanjing Tech University, a Masters Degree in Science in Chemical Engineering at Zhejiang University, a PhD in Chemical Engineering at Nanjing Tech University.
