Ouyang Pingkai (1945- ), professor of NanjingTech. He is a precursor in bio-chemical engineering and engineering education. He graduated from the Department of Chemistry of Qinghua University in 1968 and obtained master degree in engineering in Tsinghua University in 1981. He won the first prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2000 and was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2001. He won the Ho Leung Ho Lee Prize for Progress in Science and Technology in 2003 and his research focus is bio-chemistry.
