Xu Nanping (1961—  ), professor of NanjingTech who graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering of Nanjing Institute of Chemical Technology (the origin of NanjingTech) in 1989 with a doctorate in engineering. He won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2002 and the second prize of the National Technological Invention Award in 2005. He was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2005 and his research focus is the field of chemical engineering.
