Zhou Lian (1940—  ),adjunct professor of NanjingTech who graduated from Northeastern University in 1963. He was    conferred the title of honorary doctorate by Joseph Fourier University in 2005. He was among the first batch of academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1994. He won the Ho Leung Ho Lee Prize for Progress in Science and Technology in 1998 and his research focus is superconducting and rare metal materials.
