Public administration is a discipline that is oriented towards public interest and public values, and studies how to use public policies and public organisations to manage public affairs, provide public goods and services, improve the level of national governance, and promote the modernisation of the national governance system and governance capacity. The aim of the programme is to train public management and service professionals for the public sector, including party and government agencies, institutions and social organisations. The University's public administration programmes include public service management and administrative management.
The training of our administrative majors is based on a curriculum system that is characterised by a strong foundation, a broad calibre and an emphasis on practice, and a participatory learning model that is "student-centred". Through multiple teaching and learning processes such as theoretical teaching, case studies, experimental simulations and social practice, and through a basic path that combines "theory and practice", "general studies and professionalism", "reading and research" and "campus and society", we are committed to cultivating, training and enhancing students' comprehensive quality, governance ability and management skills.
