Overview
The School of Emergency Management was officially established on April 30, 2021. On May 19th, Hu Guangjie, vice governor of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, unveiled the Emergency Management College. Academician Fan Weicheng, Academician Peng Xiaojun, Academician Zheng Yuguo, Academician Ren Qilong, Academician Shi Jianlin, Professor Xuan Fuzhen, and Chief Zhou Xiang were appointed as the honorary and part-time professors of the School of Emergency Management.
The overall goal of the college is to implement President Xi Jinping's important idea of "strengthening the cultivation of emergency management talents and subject construction", actively meet the major needs of Jiangsu and even the whole nation for safety and emergency management, establish a discipline system of safety and emergency management with obvious characteristics, produce first-class scientific research achievements, promote the industrialization of emergency management, expand lifelong education in emergency management, and strive to cultivate urgently needed professionals in emergency management. It is committed to building domestic first-class and internationally-renowned base for emergency management talent training, scientific and technological innovation and achievement transformation in China.
In terms of discipline construction, the School of Emergency Management is an interdisciplinary school, involving eight disciplines, including safety science and engineering, chemical engineering and technology, power engineering & engineering thermophysics, mechanical engineering, public management, transportation engineering, geological resources & geological engineering, and civil engineering. There are 4 national first-class undergraduate majors, 2 national characteristic majors, 4 Jiangsu Province brand majors, 3 Jiangsu Province key majors, 4 first-class doctoral programs, and 5 postdoctoral research mobile stations in related disciplines. Safety Science and Engineering ranked B+ in the fourth round of discipline evaluation by the Ministry of Education, and ranked first in the field of chemical Safety engineering in China. The discipline of Chemical engineering and technology has trained 18 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and was ranked A in the fourth round of discipline evaluation, and top 1 ‰ worldwide in chemical ESI for basic disciplines. The disciplines of power engineering, engineering thermophysics, and mechanical engineering have entered the top 2.4 ‰ of ESI rankings. In the ranking of soft science in 2022, chemical Safety engineering and disaster prevention & mitigation science & engineering ranked A+.
In terms of faculty, there are a total of 73 teachers and researchers in the emergency management field, including 39 senior teachers, 25 deputy senior teachers, and 9 intermediate teachers. Among the 73 people, there are 24 part-time teachers, 49 full-time teachers, and 35 full-time teachers with industry backgrounds. There are a number of outstanding talents in the teaching team, including academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering, distinguished professors of the National Thousand Talents Plan, national young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions, national outstanding teachers, distinguished professors of the National High level Innovative Talents Plan, national scientific and technological innovation leaders, leading talents of “millions of projects”, receivers of the "National Natural Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars Fund", winners of the "New Century Excellent Talents Program of the Ministry of Education", the "Six Talent Peaks" funding in Jiangsu Province, and candidates for the "333 Talent Project" in Jiangsu Province.
In terms of education and teaching, the college has broken the professional barriers, cooperated with the construction of emergency management related majors, and created a full chain of emergency management talent training mode and a system integrating bachelor's degree, master's degree as well as doctor's degree. The emergency management college has built two majors--emergency management, and emergency technology and management, and relied on the related disciplines to build 5 other majors, including safety engineering, fire protection engineering, chemical safety engineering, disaster prevention & mitigation science and engineering, and emergency equipment technology and engineering.
In terms of disciplinary platforms, the School of Emergency Management has established seven national, provincial and university-level scientific research platforms based on the advantages and characteristics of relevant disciplines, i.e., the Key Laboratory of Chemical Process Safety Production of the Emergency Management Department, the Key Laboratory of Internet plus Safety Production of Dangerous Chemicals of the Emergency Management Department, the Intrinsic safety Research Institute of Chemical Industry of Jiangsu Province, the Key Laboratory of Intrinsic safety and Control Technology of Dangerous Chemicals of Jiangsu Province Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Civil Engineering and Disaster Prevention and Reduction, Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Urban and Industrial Safety, and Public Safety Research Institute of Nanjing Tech University.
In terms of campus cooperation, the Emergency Management College actively expands cooperation and exchanges with government authorities such as the Provincial Emergency Management Department and Nanjing Emergency Management Bureau, and has been approved as a provincial key emergency management college construction site jointly organized and selected by the Provincial Emergency Management Department and the Provincial Department of Education. Cooperate with the provincial emergency management department and Nanjing Tech University to build a new type of “think tank” integrated construction –"Institute of emergency management and policy". Expand lifelong emergency management education for the industry, and help improve the educational level and skill level of the emergency management team in the province.
In the future, the college will continue to deeply implement President Xi Jinping's important discussions on emergency management and important instructions for work safety in Jiangsu, closely focus on the decision-making and deployment of the CPC Central Committee, the State Council, the provincial party committee and the provincial government, better coordinate development and safety, cultivate the emergency management talent team, complement the weakness of safety development talents, and help to modernize the emergency management system and capabilities.

Prof. Jiang Juncheng (蒋军成)
Prof. Jiang Juncheng, Ph.D. in Engineering, (Level 2) Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, President of Nanjing Tech University, Director of the Key Laboratory of Chemical Process Safety and Production of the National Emergency Response Department, Director of the Key Laboratory of Chemical Process Safety and Control of the National Petroleum and Chemical Industry, and Director of the Key Laboratory of Intrinsic Safety and Control Technology of Hazardous Chemicals in Jiangsu Province. He serves as an expert of the National Expert Group on Production Safety, deputy director of the Teaching Steering Committee of Safety Science and Engineering in Colleges and Universities under the Ministry of Education, and deputy director of the Sub-Technical Committee on Chemical Safety of the National Standardization Administration. He is also the executive director of China Occupational Safety and Health Association, the director of Jiangsu Safety Production Expert Committee, and the vice president of Jiangsu Chemical Industry Association. He also serves as an editorial board member of the Journal of Chemical Engineering and the Chinese Journal of Safety Science and as the chairman of many international conferences in his field of specialization.
Prof. Jiang conducted an academic visit to the National Research Council (NRC) of Canada from 2000 to 2001. He has served as deputy director of the Institute of Safety Engineering and dean of the School of Urban Construction, Safety and Environment of Nanjing Tech University. From 2008 to 2018, he served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and a vice-president of Nanjing Tech University. From 2018 to 2022, he served as the deputy secretary of the Party Committee and the president of Changzhou University, and since July 2022 he took up his current position.
Prof. Jiang has presided over more than 30 key projects, including the National Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Major Scientific Research Instrument Development Project of NSFC, the National Science and Technology Support Program, the National Key R & D Program, and provincial and ministerial-level projects. He has published over 400 papers as the first or corresponding author, two monographs, eight textbooks, 36 authorized Chinese invention patents, two international invention patents, and seven technical standards such as national standards.
Prof. Jiang has won a second prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress, a second prize of National Excellent Textbook, six first prizes and eight second prizes of provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress, five provincial and ministerial teaching achievement prizes, and has won the Zhao Yonghao Science and Technology Innovation Award (2019), the Innovation Award of the Hou Debang Chemical Technology Science and Technology Award (2016), and the Achievement Award (2022).

Prof. Cao Jie (曹杰)
Prof. Cao Jie, Ph.D., (Level 2) Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Nanjing Tech University, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, Supervisor of Jiangsu Provincial Supervisory Commission stationed in Nanjing Tech University, member of the Steering Committee for Teaching of Management Science and Engineering under the Ministry of Education of China.
In 2006, Prof. Cao was awarded the Outstanding Young Backbone Teachers' Grant by Southeast University, and in 2009, he was recognized as a national candidate of New Century Hundred Million Talents Project, a young and middle-aged scientific and technological leader of Jiangsu Province's “333 Project”, and was awarded the Six Talent Peaks Grant by Jiangsu Province, and in 2010, he was recognized as the Outstanding Scientific and Technological Worker of Jiangsu Province.
Prof. Cao has been the party secretary and dean of the School of Economics and Management of Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST), the dean of the China Manufacturing Development Research Institute of NUIST, the director of the Chinese Society of Management Science, the director of the Chinese Society of Management Science and Engineering, the director of the China Preferential Method and Integration Approach and Economic Mathematics Research Society, and the member of the Academic Committee of the Chinese Society of Management Science. He is also the director of China Management Science and Engineering Society, the director of China Preferential Integration Method and Economic Mathematics Research Society, the member of Academic Committee of China Management Science Society, the deputy director of Youth Working Committee of China Preferential Integration Method and Economic Mathematics Research Society, the member of Expert Committee of Modern Logistics Association of Jiangsu Province, the director of Jiangsu System Engineering Society, the member of Editorial Committee of Read River Journal, and the vice president of Xuzhou Engineering College and the member of the Party Committee of Xuzhou University.
Prof. Cao has presided over five national projects, six projects of other provinces and ministries, and has published more than 20 papers and 12 policy research reports. ● Prof. Wang Zhirong (王志荣)
Prof. Wang Zhirong, Ph.D. in Engineering, (Level 2) Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, Dean of the College of Emergency Management at Nanjing Tech University, and Dean of Jiangsu Emergency Management College. He is recognized as a leading talent in Science and Technology Innovation under the National Talent Plan, a recipient of the China Youth Science and Technology Award, the leader of both the Jiangsu University Excellent Science and Technology Innovation Team and the Jiangsu Province "Six Talent Peaks" Innovation Team. Additionally, he is honored as a Distinguished Professor of Jiangsu Province, receiving special funding for his contributions.
Since joining Nanjing Tech University in 2005, Prof. Wang's career has been characterized by rapid professional advancement and significant contributions to emergency management and safety technology. He was promoted to professor ahead of schedule by 2013 and broadened his academic experience as a visiting professor at the University of Maryland. He has directed over 50 research projects, including one key project and one sub-project under the National Key R&D Program, four projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, and over ten provincial and ministerial research projects.
Prof. Wang has published over 200 SCI papers as the first author or corresponding author in renowned domestic and international journals, affirming his leadership in emergency management research. He has also played a pivotal role in developing three industry (group) standards. His research outcomes have been included in proposals by the China Association for Science and Technology, publications by the Ministry of Education, and several decision-making advisory newsletters in Jiangsu Province, leading to endorsements from senior leaders of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Government.
Moreover, Prof. Wang occupies significant positions on national and provincial safety, energy, and environmental committees. His extensive work has earned him prestigious awards such as the Gold Medal for Innovation and the National Technological Progress Second Prize, highlighting his substantial impact on science, technology, and education. As a mentor in the national "Challenge Cup" competition, he has excelled in inspiring and guiding the next generation of scientists and engineers, solidifying his role as a cornerstone of scientific innovation and educational excellence.

Prof. Shao Chunlei (邵春雷)
Prof. Shao Chunlei, Ph.D. in Engineering, Associate Dean of the School of Emergency Management, Professor and supervisor for master's degree candidates, Director of the Institute of Chemical Machinery, Director of the Jiangsu Society of Mechanics, Member of the Flow Professional Committee within the Jiangsu Society of Metrology and Testing, and Member of the Jiangsu Society of Engineering Thermophysics. His outstanding contributions and potential were recognized in 2016 when he was selected as a candidate for the "Six Talent Peaks" high-level talent training program in Jiangsu Province, affirming his status as a leading figure in his field.
Over recent years, Professor Shao has made significant contributions to his field, authoring more than 80 papers in both domestic and international journals and securing over ten patents. His leadership and expertise have been pivotal in managing numerous scientific research initiatives, including topics under the national key R&D program, projects funded by the national natural science fund, Jiangsu natural science fund projects, and major natural science research projects of Jiangsu universities (Class A). Furthermore, he has led general projects of natural science research in Jiangsu universities, discipline fund projects at Nanjing Tech University, and projects entrusted by enterprises. In addition to his research endeavors, Professor Shao has spearheaded various teaching reform projects, showcasing his commitment to academic excellence and innovation.
Professor Shao's distinguished career is highlighted by numerous awards, reflecting his exceptional teaching and mentorship skills, alongside significant engineering education contributions. Since 2012, he has been recognized multiple times, including as an outstanding mentor in national competitions and recipient of various teaching awards at Nanjing Tech University. His achievements include top prizes in Mechanics Teaching and Micro-lesson Competitions, recognition as an Outstanding Communist Party Member, and honors for his role in online teaching innovation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Under his guidance, students have achieved national competition success, and his courses, notably "Engineering Fluid Mechanics", have received top online and blended learning accolades at both provincial and national levels. Shao's innovative case study, "Fluid Mechanics in Poetry", was celebrated as a significant contribution to online education. Prof. Zhang Mingguang（张明广）
Prof. Zhang Mingguang, Ph.D. in Engineering, holds multiple esteemed positions at Nanjing Tech University, including Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, Associate Dean of the School of Emergency Management, and Vice Director of the Institute of Safety Engineering. He also serves as Deputy Director at both the Key Laboratory of Chemical Process Safety Control under the China Petrochemical Federation and the Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory of Urban and Industrial Safety. Further, Prof. Zhang is a vital member of the Standardization Committee of the Chinese Society of Occupational Health and an expert in production safety for the Emergency Management Department. His academic pursuits have taken him to Texas A&M University, the University of Marne-la-Vallée, and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University for scholarly exchanges.
In his illustrious career, Prof. Zhang has spearheaded and contributed to 14 significant projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, key research and development program sub-projects, and various provincial-level scientific endeavors. He has published over 80 high-impact papers in safety science, both domestically and internationally, authored an academic monograph, and holds 5 invention patents along with 16 software copyrights. His efforts have led to the development of three standards in his field. As a young editorial board member for the "China Safety Science Journal" and the "Journal of Safety and Environment," and a peer reviewer for several prestigious international journals, Prof. Zhang plays a crucial role in shaping the future of safety science.

Prof. Chen Hongxi (陈红喜)
Prof. Chen Hongxi, Ph.D. in Management, Postdoctoral Fellow in Economics, Professor, young and middle-aged academic and technical leader of Jiangsu Province“333 High-level Talent Cultivation Project”, the first Jiangsu Province Top Ten Master Teachers of Shuangchuang and the leader of the Top Ten Boutique Courses, Director of Social Science Department and Vice President of Science Research Institute of Nanjing Tech University.
Prof. Chen is an expert of Nanjing Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee Legislation Advisory Committee, expert of Jiangsu Province Circular Economy Expert Committee, public member of State-level Jiangbei New Area Urban Governance, mentor of Science and Technology Entrepreneurship of Jiangsu Province, head of Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Innovation Think Tank Base, chief expert of Decision-Making Consultation of China Association for Science and Technology, expert of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education and Research Center of Chinese Colleges and Universities, and correspondence evaluation expert of the National Social Science Foundation Project. Prof. Chen has presided over three national-level projects and sub-projects of major projects of the NSSF, such as major projects of the National Soft Science Research Program and general projects of the National Social Science Foundation, as well as more than 40 major key and enterprise-commissioned projects at provincial and ministerial levels. He published six monographs by independent authors or collaborators. He published over 50 academic papers in core journals such as Journal of Intelligence, Science and Technology Progress and Countermeasures, Chinese Journal of Population Resources and Environment, IEEE International Symposium on Geoscience and Remote Sensing (IGARSS), etc., and many of his papers have been reprinted in full text by China Social Science Network and NPC Reprinting Materials.
Prof. Chen has won over 20 provincial and ministerial level awards, including the first prize of Jiangsu Provincial Social Sciences Applied Research Excellence Project Award for Outstanding Achievements, the first prize of Provincial Academic Conference of Philosophy and Social Sciences, the first prize of Provincial Postgraduate Education Reform Achievement Award, the second prize of Provincial Outstanding Achievements in Think Tank Research and Decision-making Consultation, the second prize of Provincial Teaching Achievements, the second prize (twice) and the third prize (once) of Provincial Outstanding Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences, and the China Industry-University-Research Collaboration Promotion Prize. Prof. Ma Haiyun (马海韵)
Prof. Ma Haiyun, Ph.D. in Public Administration, Professor and Master's degree supervisor, Deputy Director of the Social Science Department of Nanjing Tech University, Research Fellow at the Institute of Emergency Governance and Policy Research, Nanjing Tech University, a key think tank cultivated by Jiangsu Province, and Director of the Institute of Social Development of Nanjing Tech University. Her expertise and contributions were further recognized during her tenure as a senior visiting scholar at Royal Holloway College, University of London, UK, from December 2017 to December 2018.
Throughout her distinguished career, Professor Ma has held several prestigious roles. She has served as a communication review expert for the National Social Science Fund project and a review expert for the Degree Center of the Ministry of Education. She is a respected expert for the Science and Technology Innovation Think Tank Base of the Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology and serves as the Executive Director of the Jiangsu Society of Urban Economics. Her insights are highly valued in political circles, as evidenced by her roles as a high-end expert on the theoretical work platform of the Publicity Department of the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee and an expert on the Political and Legal Committee of the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee, focusing on evaluating and resolving legal and litigation-related petition cases.
Prof. Ma's significant contributions also extend to urban governance, serving as a member of the third decision-making advisory committee of the State-level Jiangbei New Area and a public member of the Urban Governance Committee of Jiangbei New Area. Additionally, she contributes to academic discourse as a member of the editorial board of the "Emergency Management Science and Technology" journal.
Professor Ma's educational and research endeavors have earned her numerous accolades, including the prestigious "Top Ten Teachers' Ethics" award at Nanjing Tech University, the first prize in the Young Teachers' Teaching Competition, and the Special Contribution Award for Social Sciences at the same institution. Her research reports have made a substantial impact, with more than ten being adopted by high-level organizations and government bodies, including the General Office of the Chinese Communist Party, the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, and various provincial and local governments. Her work has received commendations from the main leaders of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, affirming her influential role in policymaking and the development of social sciences.

Prof. Zhao Desheng (赵德胜）
Prof. Zhao Desheng, Ph.D. in Law, Associate Professor, Director of the Department of Emergency Management. He has long been engaged in research on local public governance, ecological protection, and emergency management.
In recent years, Prof. Zhao has led and participated in multiple national and provincial-level research projects. He has published over ten professional papers in core journals and authoritative newspapers and periodicals. Several collaborative research reports have been adopted by central government agencies and the Ministry of Education, and received positive comments from leading officials in Jiangsu Province. He has also co-authored three academic monographs.
Prof. Zhao serves as a council member of the Jiangsu Urban Economic Society, a member of the Jiangsu Ecological Law Society, and a researcher at the key provincial think tank “Emergency Management and Policy Research Institute of Nanjing Tech University”.

Prof. Li Zhi (李智)
Prof. Li Zhi holds a Master's degree in Language Education from the University of Sydney (2008) and a Master's degree in Economics from Nanjing University (2014). In 2025, Li earned a Ph.D. from Shanghai Normal University, specializing in emergency communication, language planning and policy, and emergency language services. Li is a member of the China Association for Intercultural Communication and the Jiangsu Provincial Linguistic Society.
Prof. Li has led several research projects, including the Jiangsu Province Education Science "12th Five-Year Plan" 2015 project, "Strategies for Enhancing College Students' Intercultural Communication Competence at the Cognitive Level," and the 2019 Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education Philosophy and Social Sciences Research Project, "Innovative Approaches to College English Oral Teaching in the 'Internet+' Era," as well as multiple university-level key and general research initiatives.
In terms of academic and teaching achievements, Prof. Li has received the 2016 Fourth China Petroleum and Chemical Education Scientific Research Award, the 2015 First Prize in the Nanjing Tech University Young Faculty Teaching Competition, the 2013 Third Prize in the Jiangsu Provincial Micro-Lecture Teaching Competition, the 2013 Second Prize in the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press National College English Teaching Demonstration Competition, the 2014 "Gongda Group Teaching Award" from Nanjing Tech University, and the 2016 "Outstanding Educator" honorary title. Prof. Liu Fei (刘飞)
Prof. Liu Fei, Ph.D. in Engineering, Associate Professor, Dean of the Emergency Technology and Management at College of Emergency Management in Nanjing Tech University. He is recognized as a visiting scholar at the University of Kentucky in the United States, a recipient of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, Postdoctoral Special Support (Station). His doctoral thesis was awarded the "2019 China Coal Youth Science and Technology Award for Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation".

Prof. Huang Yajun (黄亚军)
Prof. Huang Yajun, Ph.D. in Engineering, Associate Professor and Master Supervisor. He graduated from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) with a Ph.D. degree in Safety Science and Engineering, and visited Lund University, Sweden, for a one-year joint training program during his Ph.D. study. He carried out his postdoctoral research in the State Key Laboratory of Fire Science of USTC, and joined Nanjing Tech University in 2023.
Prof. Huang presided over the youth project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program of China, the general project of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and the open project of the State Key Laboratory, and participated in a number of key international projects of the NSFC as well as key R&D program projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST).
Prof. Huang has published more than 40 academic papers, including more than 20 SCI papers as the first/corresponding author in Journal of Hazardous Materials, Journal of Energy Storage, International Journal of Thermal Sciences, etc., among which one paper was selected as ESI Highly Cited Paper. He has been selected as one of the ESI highly cited papers, and has been authorized five invention patents. Prof. Han Chaoling (韩超灵)
Prof. Han Chaoling, Ph.D. in Engineering, Associate Professor and Master Supervisor, graduated from Southeast University (China) in 2021 with a Ph.D. in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics, visiting scholar at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Colorado Boulder, USA.
In recent years, Prof. Han has published more than 20 SCI indexed papers in authoritative journals such as J Energy Chem, Energy, J Power Sources, and Int J Heat Mass Transfer in the fields of heat and mass transfer and emergency management technology, including 1 ESI hot topic paper. He has successively presided over 6 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Fund, National Key Research and Development Program sub projects, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education General (Class A), and industry university research cooperation. Applied for 2 invention patents, granted 2 patents, and won the Silver Award at the 2024 Geneva International Invention Exhibition for related research achievements.
In terms of teaching, Prof. Han won the first prize in the 2024 Nanjing Tech University Micro Course Teaching Competition, guided undergraduate students to be approved for provincial-level innovation and entrepreneurship training programs, and won the Excellent Award in the International College Student Innovation Competition. Dr. Cao Yang (曹旸)
Dr. Cao Yang, Ph.D. in Science, Assistant Professor and Master Supervisor, International Affairs Secretary. She received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she studied under AMS fellow Prof. Robert Fovell. She worked as a postdoctoral researcher at UCLA and the University of Arizona, USA for three years, prior to joining the faculty at Nanjing Tech University in 2022.
Dr. Cao is experienced in leading and participating in research projects, including several projects funded by the US National Science Foundation and Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology. She published first-author/corresponding-author papers on SERS sensing technology of carbon nanotube, fire danger, and tropical cyclones in renowned international journals. She won multiple teaching awards, including a provincial-level teaching award, and instructed undergraduate students to win grand prizes in national and provincial-level competitions. She was awarded as an excellent class academic advisor in 2024 and an advanced individual in the campaign of women's achievements and contributions in 2025.

Dr. Wang Xiao（王晓）
Dr. Wang Xiao, Ph.D. in Education, is currently a lecturer at Nanjing Tech University. She earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Tohoku University in Japan and continued her postdoctoral research at the Graduate School of Education at the same institution. She joined Nanjing Tech University in 2017. In 2018, she was selected for the "Double Innovation Doctor" program in Jiangsu Province.
Dr. Wang has been dedicated to research in educational psychology and adolescent mental health. She has led multiple national and provincial-level research projects, including the Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social Sciences Research Youth Fund project, a key funding initiative of the Jiangsu Education Science "13th Five-Year" Plan, and the Jiangsu Higher Education Philosophy and Social Sciences Research Fund project, among others. As the first author, she has published over ten papers in academic journals both domestically and internationally, with her research findings holding significant theoretical value and practical significance.
Dr. Wang's research focuses on individual development and psychological intervention in emergency situations, emphasizing interdisciplinary innovation. Her findings provide a scientific basis for adolescent mental health education and the formulation of emergency management policies. Dr. Wang Tiantian, Ph.D. in Management, Lecturer. She has long been engaged in research on crisis management emergency management and emotion management. In recent years, Wang has published several SCI-indexed papers in international journals such as Natural Hazards and Earth System Sciences and Soft Computing. She has participated in several national-level research projects, including those funded by the National Social Science Fund, the National Key R&D Program, and the General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

Dr. Chen Bi (陈碧)
Dr. Chen Bi, Ph.D. in Engineering, specializing in cementitious and advanced engineering materials. She earned her Ph.D. from the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Nanjing Tech University. During her academic career, she participated in a key project funded by the National Key Laboratory and led the Jiangsu Provincial Graduate Student Innovation Program. From 2017 to 2018, she conducted research as a visiting scholar at Laval University, Canada. In 2022, Dr. Chen was awarded the “Jiangsu Province Outstanding Postdoctoral Program” for her contributions to materials science. Her work focuses on mitigating durability issues in concrete and developing sustainable engineering solutions.
Dr. Chen has published a large number of academic papers, monographs, and has obtained several patents. She welcomes collaborations and inquiries related to advanced construction materials and sustainable engineering.

Ms. Zhu Yonghua (朱永华)
Ms. Zhu Yonghua, Master of Law, Director of the Student Affairs Office，Secretary of the Sub - Youth League Committee. Ms. Zhu graduated from the School of Government Management of Nanjing University. In 2011, Ms. Zhu joined Nanjing Tech University and has served in various roles including the Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the College, the Director of the Student Affairs Office, the Party Organization Member, and the Associate Researcher.
Ms. Zhu has dedicated many years to the field of higher education and management, demonstrating both academic achievements and practical contributions. Her research focuses on the innovation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities, mental health education for college students in the new media environment, the transmission paths of traditional culture, and student management in collaborative education programs. Over the past decade, she has published 12 academic papers in core journals such as the Journal of Jilin Radio and Television University, Journal of Media Observation, and Journal of People's Tribune. Her notable works include "Application and Innovation of New Media in Ideological and Political Education in Colleges and Universities" and "Exploration of Innovative Paths for Student Work in Collaborative Education from the Perspective of Educational Supply-Side Reform", which systematically explore the deep integration of educational technology innovation and student management models. Beyond academic research, her practical achievements, such as "Five-Part Melody: Effective Party History Learning and Education" and "Study on the Particularity and Innovative Work Models of Smart Party Building in New-Era Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Institutions", provide replicable methodologies for university Party building and ideological and political work through the combination of theory and practice.
In educational management practice, Ms. Zhu has received numerous honors. Ms. Qian Ting (钱婷)
Ms. Qian Ting, Master of Management, Teaching and Research Secretary, Chair of the School Labor Union. Ms. Qian graduated from the School of Information Management of Nanjing University with a Master's degree in Management. After joining Nanjing Tech University in 2005, she has held various positions, including library and archive management, full-time counselor in the School of Surveying and Mapping, and deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee, among others.
Ms. Qian has participated in several research projects, including the Philosophy and Social Science Fund of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, the Education and Teaching Project of China Education Construction Association, the Higher Education Development Planning Project, the Teaching Research and Reform Project, the Philosophy and Social Science Research Project, and the Research Project on Party Building and Ideological and Political Education.

Mr. Yang Yun（杨赟）
Mr. Yang Yun, Master's degree in Engineering, Director of the Laboratory Teaching Center. Mr. Yang graduated from Nanjing Tech University in June 2020, obtaining a Master's degree in Safety Engineering.
Mr. Yang actively participates in scientific research projects, having published five SCI papers and obtained more than ten utility model patents and invention patents. As the project leader, he presided over the research on the thermal runaway gas production process of lithium-ion batteries. He also studied the dangerous characteristics of the gas released.

Dr. Pan Feng (潘枫)
Dr. Pan Feng, Ph.D. in Agricultural Science, Student Affairs Officer. After earning her Ph.D. in Ornamental Plants and Horticulture from Anhui Agricultural University in 2021, Dr. Pan Feng joined Nanjing Tech University and transitioned to ideological and political education research. She now employs rigorous analytical methodologies to examine student development issues.
Dr. Pan has been awarded the National Scholarship for Doctoral Candidates, recognized as an Outstanding Contributor in Mental Health Education at Nanjing Tech University, honored as an Outstanding Organizer of Social Practice Activities at Nanjing Tech University, received the Excellent Advisor Award in the First Holland Interest Hexagon Competition at Nanjing Tech University, and granted the Outstanding Graduate Student title along with the "Anke Biotechnology Scholarship".

Ms. Chi Zhaozhao, Master of Engineering, Director of the Discipline Office, Graduate Student Secretary, and Laboratory Technician. Ms. Chi holds a master's degree in Safety Science and Engineering and a bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, both from Nanjing Tech University. As a graduate in the field of safety engineering, she has a foundational understanding of risk assessment, accident prevention, and safety management. She also participated in a three-month academic exchange at Texas A&M University, USA, where she gained valuable international research exposure and fostered collaboration with experts in the field.
