Brief Introduction:

Prof. LONG works in the State Key Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry for Life Science, Nanjing University. In 1989, Prof. LONG graduated from Shandong University and received a Bachelors Degree. He obtained his Masters Degree (1996) and Doctoral Degree (1998) from Nanjing University. From 1999 to 2001, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Heidelberg University, Germany, and then conducted research at ENSCP, France, University of Saskatchewan and University of Alberta, Canada, and University of California, Berkeley, USA. His research interests include Single Molecule Interface, Electrochemically Nanoconfined Space, Nanopore Single Molecule Analysis, Nanoelectrochemistry, and in-situ Spectroelectrochemistry. He has received many honors and awards for his outstanding research achievements, including the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (2011), Chang Jiang Scholar (2012), the First Prize of Shanghai Natural Science Award, the Grand Prize of Science & Technology Award of China Association for Instrumental Analysis, and Liang Shuquan Award for Basic Research in Analytical Chemistry. He currently serves as an associate editor for Chemical Science, Research, and Chemical Research in Chinese Universities; an editorial board member for Chemical Reviews, ChemElectroChem, Theranostics and Microchimica Acta, and a Fellow of the International Society of Electrochemistry.
