In order to promote the in-depth cooperation between Nanjing Tech University and Cambridge University-Nanjing Center of Technology and Innovation (CUNJC) and further integrate global high-quality innovation resources with NanjingTech, Prof. Nai Kang, Director of the International Office, and Mr. Zhou Zhi, Director of the Management Office of Nanjing Tech University National Science Park, visited the Cambridge University-Nanjing Center of Technology and Innovation on June 28.

Mr. Wu An, General Manager of the Cambridge University-Nanjing Center of Technology and Innovation, introduced that the CUNJC is the University of Cambridge’s first major research center outside the United Kingdom and the only one bearing the University’s name. The Center hopes to promote the connection between the leading expertise and facilities in Cambridge and NanjingTech and carry out the cooperation in R&D, the transformation of research achievements, as well as the international academic exchange and talent training based on the cooperation already had.

Prof. Nai Kang and Mr. Zhou Zhi suggested a broad prospect of cooperation between the two sides. Focusing on the goal of building a high-level university, NanjingTech hopes to develop a multi-dimensional cooperation mode to “bring in” the high-quality innovation resources of Cambridge University and form a cluster of top resources for innovation. By doing so, the scientific and technological innovation and transformation efficiency of NanjingTech will be further improved, and the international cooperation among university-industry-government toward high-quality development will be accelerated.
